A Day at the Park

Well, we've slacked off a bit, but things have been a bit busy here. However, we did take a break and go to the park last weekend. We met a buch of friends and had a great time. First we had a little picnic. Well, to be honest Mom and Dad had a picnic. Monroe looked longingly at solid food.

Later we tried out the swings. Monroe was a pro and he really loved it!

Next we tried the slide.

Monroe wasn't quite old enough to fully appreciate that one yet.

We finished the day with a lovely stroll along the trails comparing notes with another new mom. It was great!

Now I know you are asking yourself, "What have they been so busy doing?" Well I have been working hard to complete a staff training program for all of the library staff in the county that goes live on Valentine's Day. I didn't create it, but I did design several of the pages. I'm very proud of the final product. Anyway, I 'm telling you all of this in an attempt to explain the next picture. It was created while working on the photo sharing page of the training. This is what I have been doing at work...
Monroe as a Kitten
Don't I have the coolest job in the world!!!

This week we've been reading...

Monroe really likes looking at the pictures of the babies. He's really been fighting going to bed lately, so I like to think that the picture of the baby yawning helps make him tired. It makes me tired.
